Chemical Agent Resistant Coatings (CARC)

In our continued growth Colonial decided to enter the military coating business. In conjunction with our suppliers and our customers Colonial is approved for the Military CARC system.

CARC coatings resist corrosion and the penetration of chemical agents. It also resists removal by decontaminating solutions. This coating is required on all combat, combat support, and combat service support equipment. To date we have supplied; The Army, Navy, and Marines, through projects such as; The Cougar (MRAP), Stryker, HPK, and Fox.

Our suppliers for this coating have been Sherwin Williams and Hentzen Coatings and our main customer is General Dynamics.
